When an employee needs to remove a dependent due to a QLE. The employee should call their carrier's member services department to initiate the process. The carrier may request that the employee fill out a form and provide documentation or may be able to process the request over the phone. (Carrier Process May Vary)
After the employee calls the carrier and follows the carrier's instructions on removing the dependent, the employee should email employee.experience@sureco.com and let the SureCo team know they are removing the dependent and the date they will be removed from the plan.
